Abstract

The problem that often occurs in the work of a project is the frequent
occurrence of project delays. Therefore analyzing the factors causing delays is part
of project control where it is the first step to support the success of the project itself.
In this study, an analysis was carried out on the factors causing project delays
using the AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method by conducting interviews with
related parties and providing delay factor assessment questionnaires, making
cause-and-effect diagrams (fishbone), testing data validity, determining priority
weights by AHP, and analyze the data.
The results of this study are the main factors that cause delays in development
projects, there are three main factors that cause delays in the project, namely sub
criteria lack of material with a weight value of 0.1422, low labor productivity with
a weight of 0.1328, damage to machinery and equipment with a weight 0.1229.
