Abstract

Based on information from residents around the Pungkruk - Mungkung
Highway Section, Sragen Regency STA 0+000 to 0+550, from 1998 to 2021 the
Pungkruk - Mungkung Highway Section, Sragen Regency has been submerged by
river water several times, and the condition of the road is submerged The worst was
that in 2010 the road was submerged in water for approximately 70 cm and the
road could not be passed by vehicles. To overcome the problem of the Pungkruk -
Mungkung Highway, Sragen Regency STA 0+000 to 0+550, a redesign or re
planning is needed, so that any existing problems can be resolved.
This research uses a quantitative approach with a case study method, namely
a study by conducting detailed examinations of one background or one subject or
a document storage area or a particular event, while the quantitative approach uses a survey method, which is one of the research approaches generally used for data
collection extensive and large amount of data.
From the results of the analysis and discussion, in the study it can be
concluded that the factors that affect the damage to the Jalan Raya Pungkruk -
Mungkung Sragen Regency are the height of the road starting from STA 0+000 to
0+550 lower resulting in the road being easily damaged because it is submerged
in water rain and overflowing mungkung river. The thickness of the pavement
according to the Redesign of the Pungkruk – Mungkung Highway, Sragen Regency
STA 0+000 to 0+550 is 200 cm above the old road surface and a road paver is
made to withstand the thickness of the new pavement.
