Abstract

Water is one of the most important elements and is needed by all living things.
In Central Java, especially Boyolali Regency, there are several reservoirs,
including the Bade Reservoir which is utilized by the community. For this reason,
an analysis of the water storage capacity in the Bade Reservoir must be carried out,
therefore the purpose of this study is to obtain the volume of the Bade Reservoir
discharge and the amount of sediment entering the Bade Reservoir. In calculating
sediment, the bottom sediment uses the Einstein and MP&M methods while for
floating sediment using the Asdak Chay and Forcheimer methods. The effective
volume of the reservoir is determined by the value of the average volume of the
reservoir and the total sediment volume. The results of the calculation of the Bade
Reservoir capacity have shown that the Bade Reservoir has an average discharge
of 0.589 m3/second. The bottom sediment of the Bade Reservoir is 678.62 m3/day.
And for the floating sediment of the Bade Reservoir is 2.41 m3/day. And the total
sediment of the Bade Reservoir is 681.03 m3/day.
